Excellent boutique hotel with large, modern rooms. UNBELIEVABLY comfortable bed in a minimally-but-perfectly appointed space, beautiful bathroom with lots of good hot water, and lots of thoughtful dedign touches (kitchen sink, well-placed light switches, welcome cookie, coffee maker). Tori was a warm and knowledgeable hostess. Stay here whenever you can!
This little oasis of a hotel is the perfect place to come home to after a long day exploring this perfect gem of a town. It is located within walking distance to everything you need in Los Barrilles, and Tori our host was very attentive and helpful, available at all times. Thank you for an amazing stay!
Hotel Hondo is magical and a wonderful place to stay! Has such charm with a modern boutique hotel feel but still all the feels of Baja. The beds are super comfy and you really feel like you are at home. My family and I love staying here and are always return customers. Walking distance to many great restaurants, bars, and the beach. Highly recommend! Love it here!
Hotel Hondo is a great place to stay. The rooms are very nice and clean with everything you need for your stay. The pool is a real treat on a hot afternoon. It is located in town close to everything but in a quiet location. I will stay here again.
Beautiful boutique hotel that is super well located in Los Barilles. The rooms and bathrooms are bonita. Water pressure 10/10. Our room had a kitchenette with a hot plate stove, fridge, microwave. There’s also a bbq next to the pool. And the pool is killer - we love the cave hehe. Thank you Tori for being the best host.
Nice, clean modern room with kitchenette. We stayed in the garden unit. Comfortable beds, nice hot shower with great pressure. Quiet and short walking distance to the beach. Tori was great to communicate with when booking reservation. We also booked foilboarding lessons at their school.
My wife, toddler and I enjoyed a great start at Hondo. The rooms are clean, modern, simple but tastefully decorated. We had a room in the end with a great view of beautiful bogenvilla flowers and palm trees. Ten minutes walk to several restaurants and the beach! A lovely little pool in the back that we used every day. A nice little garden and table on our front porch that we enjoyed eating at. We'd definitely recommend staying here!
Tori could not have done more during my stay at Hotel Hondo! From the cactus cookie that welcomed me, to her organising laundry pick up from my room, to getting me linked up with the local horse riding guide - nothing was too much trouble! The room itself was beautiful and serene, very tastefully decorated and excellent air con. The hotel is just a stone’s throw from really lovely places to eat - I would particularly recommend Green Dot cafe for breakfast!
